Thanks, Daniel! I tried to switch it up to mash-up Kubert's influence and aesthetic with my style. I'm happy this kind of departure happened. I wasn't sure how it would turn out when I first started working on it.

Thanks, Sean! I had to look up what "contrapposto" was. I thought it was a some sort of pasta, which made me hungry. So fancy.

And yeee! :dance: You did fall for my digital wileyness! That was for fooling me with your "Hulk Noir" piece. ;) If it was traditional, there woulda been embarrassing amounts of smudge marks on the left side of the piece. :XD:

We artsy types have to use fancy words every now and again, it's how I justify my almost useless degree. ;)

is it Owl from Watchmen? and the shadow behind Hawkman, I Think I know him :o anyway, this is beautiful and the colors are appropriate. bravo Mic, I'm sure Joe would have loved it. :hug: :/((and goodnight, I'm off to bed))

Thanks K! Yup! It's Nite Owl from Watchmen. The main character of one of Joe's last projects. And if you guessed Shadow Thief hitching a ride on Hawkman, you win again!

Hhahaha I know my comics :3 I couldn't remember his name but I know he's related to Hawkman ( or is it because of that JLU episode? with vixen and green lantern) anyway :) you're very welcome :)

And yup! Shadow Thief's that guy. I loved that JLU ep mostly b/c of GL & Vixen getting all sexy together. ;) Anyway, Shadow Thief is known to be one of Hawkman's greatest villains so I made sure to include him.
